The beauty supply chain at Cosmopack 2017

Cosmopack, the B2B international event involving the beauty supply chain, will be back in Bologna from March 16 to 19, 2017, with innovative solutions and technologies for the industry. Cosmopack confirms the special attention that Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna pays on companies representing the excellence of the sector, from raw materials to formulation, from machinery to packaging.

Cosmopack 2017 presents initiatives and updates dedicated to decision makers of the most important beauty companies: CEOs, managing directors, corporate owners, purchase managers, product development, plant/operations, R&D managers.
In Bologna, buyers and distributors coming from key markets will have the chance to find the most innovative formulation, the most exclusive collections of international contract manufacturers, avant-garde packaging and the latest automation solutions.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, Cosmopack presents The Perfume Factory, in partnership with Accademia del Profumo (Perfume Academy) and Cosmetica Italia - personal care association: a virtual journey for visitors in the supply chain of a fragrance, from olfactory to maceration, from cartoning to cellophane.

A limited edition fragrance celebrating the 50th Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna will be produced with the collaboration of leading companies exhibiting in Cosmopack: ICR, Bormioli Luigi, Candiani, Aptar, Ima Group, Coven Egidio, Pusterla 1880. The Perfume Factory will be the stage to celebrate the 2017 finalists of the Award of Accademia del Profumo.

The Perfume Factory will be set-up inside COSMOPRIME, a preview of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2017 hosting international companies with a strong focus on retail, especially on premium perfumery. To maximize the business between different sectors, COSMOPRIME and Cosmopack will be held from March 16 to 19.

COSMOPRIME will host the International Buyer Lounge of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, with top buyers coming from all the world and selected by the International Buyer Program, the special format made by the network of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna. Exhibitors in Cosmoprof and Cosmopack will have the opportunity to take part in meetings with specific distributors and brands coming from key reference markets thanks to YOUMEET, the software created to facilitate Business-to-Business meetings.

The Cosmopack Wall Award, celebrating its 4th edition, is a not-to-be-missed event for professionals. It’s a “innovation meeting point”, where leading companies, both from Italy and from abroad, can present their most innovative projects and their latest technologies, which will affect the future of the beauty supply chain.

‘Let’s get emotional…’ is the concept for the 2017 edition: emotions awaken from a special packaging, from a new texture or from a fragrance are becoming strategic factors for the selling of a beauty product. The contest will celebrate the most original solutions influencing even the most digital-confident and trendy consumers.

The Cosmopack Forum will be the stage to depict the latest trends and the scenario of the beauty industry.
Conferences and round-tables, moderated by international experts of the sector, will be organized together with the most important cabinets des tendences. Innovation, technologies, sustainability and new markets will be some of the issues which will be analyzed with a glance on the future of the industry.

INTERNATIONAL COUNTRY PROGRAM
A road show program has been organized with the collaboration of Cosmetica Italia – personal care association and  with the contribution of ITA -Italian Trade Agency and the Italian Ministry for Economic Development, in order to promote Cosmopack abroad with special initiatives improving the international brand awareness of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna.
The program will facilitate new businesses and networking with companies and trade associations in the most important markets for the beauty sector: Japan, Korea, Balkans, Vietnam, China, Mexico, Israel, Turkey, UAE, Canada and USA.

MEMORANDUM

The 2016 Cosmopack edition registered the participation of 21,900 professionals with a significant presence of foreign visitors (48% coming from 109 countries). 435 exhibitors from 33 countries played an important role in the general growth of the sector up to 5,42% compared to the 2015 edition. Cosmopack is definitely a key event recognized worldwide as an exclusive preview for new collections.

For the 2017 edition, Cosmopack will have a new advertising image by Oliviero Toscani, international photographer and artist, related to the one created for Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna and inspired by a concept of beauty with no boundaries, a synonym of the multi-cultural world of Cosmoprof.
