Cibus Tec 2019: successful edition

Thomas Rosolia, President of KPE Koeln Parma Exhibitions - JV Koelnmesse GmbH and Fiere di Parma - confirmed the full success of the recent edition of Cibus Tec (22-25 October 2019) for the number of visitors (over 40 thousand, of which 25% from abroad), quality and number of exhibitors (1300, with 400 foreign brands) and occupied exhibition space (120 thousand m2).

Numbers that, for the CEO of Fiere di Parma Antonio Cellie, testify to how much international collaborations also make Made in Italy grow, after careful scheduling involving Parma and Cologne at the same time, so as to lay the foundations for creation of new formats to be launched in 2021.

Focused on process and packaging technologies in the Food & Beverage area, the display of materials, machines and services has therefore provided comprehensive answers to the numerous problems of the sector, in particular safety, sustainability and digitalization.

Cibus Tec 2019 has in fact brought over 500 innovations, including carbon neutral technologies, augmented reality solutions, aroma recovery, automation and new generation packaging. Technical conferences, the Food Tech Start up Zone and the setting up of three automated full-cycle lines at the fair further enriched the offer of an exhibition in full swing.
