Fachpack 2019 highlights

24-26 September 2019, Nuremberg. European fair dedicated to process & packaging, the 40th edition of Fackpack (Nürnberg Messe) will feature 12 pavilions, with around 1600 exhibitors.

 To support the technological offer, the event offers the 45,000 expected professional visitors a collateral program full of stimulating and topical content.

In line with this year’s focus - sustainable packaging - the “premium ecological packaging” area organized by bayern design on behalf of NürnbergMesse illustrates examples of innovative sustainable packaging design.
Also noteworthy is the “Sustainability Awards” initiative which joins the historic “German Packaging Award”, a fixed appointment at the fair.
After the success of the last edition (7,500 participants), the TechBox Forum, focused on machines and technologies for packaging and logistics, returns to support the PackBox Forum, dedicated to packaging materials, printing, finishing and design.
The technologies related to pharmaceutical, chemical and medical/medical products will instead be protagonists of the theme park “Packaging in technology, pharmacy and chemistry”, and a guided tour that will accompany visitors through the solutions on display dedicated to the segment.

Among the other thematic areas not to be missed, we recall “The World of solid board” on rigid cardboard; the “Labels & More” pavilion; the “Robotics” packaging line; the “Corrugated board forum” on corrugated cardboard, and the “Smart packaging - printed electronics and other” format, to explore the latest technology tools, primarily those related to digitization, for packaging design and positioning strategies on the market.
