“Advances in the packaging Industry - product and process”

Is the international congress scheduled in Naples by Giflex (Italian national flexible packaging converter’s association) on ​​19 and 20 November 2015, in the picturesque setting of Castel dell’ Ovo, in collaboration with a number of prestigious Research institutes.

The conference aims to go further into the entire array of product innovations and process and state-of-the-art technologies with regard to flexible packaging. Eleven thematic areas will be under study: the physico-chemical properties of packaging materials; barrier solutions for flexible packaging (active packaging and high-barrier coatings); sustainable processes and packaging; metal and metallic packaging; food packaging safety; risk assessment in the packaging industry; surface treatments and functionalization of substrates; solvent recovery and after-burning; inks, adhesives, coatings and their solvents; film mechanics; printing technologies for flexible packaging.
