Dynamic Cosmofarma

The consolidated alliance between the Gruppo BolognaFiere, Federfarma and Cosmetica Italia has resulted in more than 70 engagements, including workshops, conventions, CME courses and theme conferences that animated the three-days of Cosmofarma (9th-11th May), attracting over 27,500 Italian (+14%) as well as foreign (+22 %) visitors.

As BolognaFiere and Sogecos President Duccio Campagnoli commented «the 600 meetings organized with the delegations of buyers from 20 countries and with the presence of over 350 exhibitors are a sign of optimism of a dynamic and proactive pharmaceutical sector and highlight the adroit Fair balance between business, science and training».
This is confirmed by figures released by the Cosmetica Italia Study Center: after a decline in the previous years, sales of cosmetics in the pharmacy channel in 2013 grew by 0.3% to a market value in excess of 1,750 million euros, and should show further growth before the end of the year. The channel is proactive and aims at not only offering cosmetics products but also professional treatments, taking advantage of the synergy of skills and knowhow shared by pharmacists and beauticians.
