The largest paper manufacturing machine in the world, almost 600 meters long and with an annual capacity of 1 million tons of celluose pulp and 900,000 t of fine paper, is installed in China, at the Hainan Jinhai Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) papermill.

The Voith Hainan PM2 is also one of the most modern and advanced plants in the world, capable of producing in about 30 minutes a paper roll 11 m long, with a diameter of 3.5 m and weighing 90 t, and designed to minimize water consumption.
