New stages of the green “revolution” signed by ITP

Also in 2021, ITP - Industria Termoplastica Pavese confirms the innovative vocation and enthusiasm that have always distinguished its activity (production of flexible films for packaging).

On the market for over 40 years, this family-run business has devoted a significant part of its investments to maintaining the high quality of the process and products, with an increasingly strong focus on the sustainability aspects of packaging and the supply chain, as evidenced by the various awards achieved over time.

An example of this is the ISCC Plus certification, obtained in September 2021, which, for the entire range of ITP films, guarantees the incoming and outgoing monitoring of so-called “bio-circular” materials, as well as their traceability along the entire supply chain*.

In addition, after joining the American and European Operation Clean Sweep® program at the beginning of the year, the voluntary BRC Module 10 recognized a record for ITP last July: the company is in fact the first in Europe to be certified with the highest grade (AA) in the prevention of accidental dispersion of raw material dust/scales into the environment.

These are truly significant goals for a dynamic company like ITP, which attest to its constant commitment, credibility and consistent results: each certification, internationally recognized and issued by independent third parties, proudly reflects the ethics of the company’s management.

* It is worth specifying here that the term “bio-circular” refers to materials derived from organic waste and residues, i.e. from agriculture, forestry and related industries (e.g. used cooking oil). More “virtuous” than raw materials produced from renewable sources, waste does not take away space from crops for human consumption and is suitable for food contact.
