Pentawards 2016: Simplicity awarded
The jury headed by Gérard Caron chose the winners of the International Pentawards 2016, which go to the best packaging design solutions worldwide, divided into five categories (Beverages, Food, Body, Other Markets, Luxury). The celebration of the 10th anniversary of the event coincided with a massive participation of members: 1,843 entries from 54 countries covering the 5 continents. In addition to the Diamond Award and 5 Platinum, the jury awarded 47 Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, representing 34 countries.
With the watchword “less is more”, the experts awarded design packaging solutions featuring simplicity.

Other Markets Category - The Partners (UK) for a wide range of packaging designs for Argos ‘Simple Value’ household appliances. Quality standards for the packaging of 140 appliances, sold by the largest U digital retailer Argos (33,000 products, 53,000 lines, 130 million customers, 840 UK stores). |
Luxury Category - Coley Porter Bell (UK) for the bottle ‘The Icon’, Chivas Regal (Pernod Ricard Group) Craft skills on a superb packaging, for a top quality Scotch, which draws inspiration from the iconic green bottle conceived in 1909. |
