Plast 2018: registrations and good signs from the plastic/rubber sector

With more than a year to go, over 600 concerns have confirmed in the first round of registrations that they will be participating in Plast 2018, an international show for the plastic and rubber materials industry that will be held in Milan on 29 May - 1 June 2018, as part of the Innovation Alliance.

This means two thirds of the exhibition space has already been reserved. That’s an impressive result when one considers the fact that many Italian and foreign exhibitors have also confirmed that they plan to give demos of functioning installations, thus offering an updated and exhaustive technology showcase.

Market. The business community’s interest in Plast 2018 is an important indicator, bolstered by the cautious optimism expressed in recent weeks by plastic and rubber operators (manufacturers and machine builders, surveyed by Assocomaplast) in light of increasing orders for both export and the domestic market.
In particular, the positive feeling of operators concerning the domestic market is at least partly attributable to hopes surrounding the National Plan for Industry 4.0, which provides for financial instruments to support business (super-amortization, hyper-amortization, the “Nuova Sabatini” capital investments bonus).
