Projects for the coming year

ANTICIPATIONS Acimga formulates its promotional activities plan for 2014, with three main objectives: internationalization, training and networking.

The association of automatic printing and converting machine manufactures has drawn up its new program of undertakings to facilitate the growth of affiliated companies.
Many and "hot" the topics to which Acimga will dedicate study opportunities, focusing on three "fundamentals" of business management. Here, briefly, the most significant ideas and opportunities.

Internationalization. Complex and dynamic the vision of objectives and tools to help preside  over of the global market. Acimga is engaged simultaneously in actions of branding - in support of Made in Italy in strategic markets - scouting in emerging countries and networking with local business communities: manufacturer-, user-, university and research center associations. Not to mention the main instrument of participation at the most popular fair events.
For 2014 Acimga is in particular targeting the Chinese, African and Russian markets. The growing attention of manufacturers for package printing and the concentration of user concerns in the Shanghai area have led to the choice of China Label (11th -14th June) and All in Print (14th-17th November)  where Acimga and its associates will have spaces and visibility. As far as Africa is concerned, 2014 brings the opportunity of contacting the developing markets via the fledgling East Afripack in Nairobi (September 9th to 12th). Organized by Ipack-Ima, it represents the processing, packaging, printing and converting sectors and shows good prospects: 92% of African companies interviewed in the recent study made by Unido declared they will update their production systems over the next three years.
Last but not least, Russia, which will see a repeat of the successful “Acimga@” formula, inaugurated a couple of years back to promote the participation of printing and converting machine builders at packaging fairs. Next year will be the turn of Upakovka-Upak-Italia (Moscow, 28th-31st January 2014).

Training & Communication. Another two theme areas very dear to Acimga.
In the training field, among the projects in the pipeline are B2B workshop on packaging and printing in high-growth markets, as well as training and communication courses.
At the time of writing three workshops have already been scheduled to run in Turkey, Lebanon and Algeria at the fair Djazagro (Algiers, 21st-24th April 2014).
As far as communication is concerned, the increasing variety and complexity of tools and the difficulties of companies in orienting themselves in this difficult and vital field, Acimga will also be replicating the popular course "Corporate communication in the WEB 2.0 era" in 2014, naturally mainly intended for marketing and communication heads of the associate companies.

The encounters. Non-standard and originally structured, lastly, the Acimga Luncheon.
This is the name for a particular kind of meetings with user company packaging managers, where  the associated companies have the opportunity of talking "directly" to their customers’ customers.
The result is a two-way communication stream, which will help to fully understand the real needs and potential of the market on one hand, and that of the technology and machines providers on the other.
