The encounter was held on Lake Geneva under the motto “Support from the private sector to projects against food wastage and waste reduction”. During the event the matter was gone into for a longterm cooperation between institutions of the private and public sector. The speakers also presented successful undertakings already underway, supported by private enterprise.
One of the projects, for which the latest updates were given, is dedicated to the production of mangos in Kenya. As well as intensifying the efficiency in serving Kenyan domestic demand, the project will also positively affect export shares.
