MakeUp in Paris - June 12th -13th, Paris
The growing participation of exhibitors and visitors, the “density” and the quality of contents and the complicity of a prestigious location (the Carrousel of the Louvre) have supported the rapid success of MakeUp in Paris as a B2B encounter rigorously focussed on the make-up segment and dense with contents.
This year announces a cycle of encounters of particular interest, introduced by an important round table discussion on lip products (lipstick, gloss and pencils). Hence the calendar of the first day of the fair schedules two conferences on inviting themes (neuroscience and innovation, or that is how to arouse longlasting passions in the consumer; and color, print and surface design trends as sources of inspiration for packaging); from encounters dedicated to the protection of intellectual property, to “intelligent” packaging, to the power of the blogs and the social networks and, lastly, a special event dedicated to the color of beauty products, with the involvement of the Comité Français de la Couleur, scientists and designers. The second day of the conferences will in turn be dedicated to: differences in “codes” and tastes in Japan, Korea and France; creativity, intuition and innovation; 3D print on cosmetics (colors and trends); pigments, innovation and regulation (round table discussion); conception of beauty and trends in the USA, with a focus on the West Coast and subsequent round table discussion.
