Five years after the last edition, the Plast trade fair restarts with new projects, further establishing itself as a technological showcase for the plastic and rubber world.

The plastics and rubber materials industry meets together at PLAST – the international show organised by Promaplast srl dedicated to technologies, materials and solutions for the sector - from 5 to 8 September 2023. Held at the Milano Rho Trade Fair, the event, which today has 1,000 participants, will see dozens of exhibitors taking part for the first time or returning after an absence from a number of editions, confirming the attraction of the event and its ability to offer an even more comprehensive overview of the industry compared to the past.

The event is also highly international, with the confirmation of Chinese and Iranian group exhibitions and the debut of a French one. With reference to the foreign delegations, there are 30 countries from all over the world involved in the incoming buyer programme, set up with the support of the ICE Agency, for a total of over 250 qualified operators.

Themed programmes and space for innovation in the pavilions

Plast 2023’s exhibition layout will be divided into six pavilions: numbers 9 and 11 will be largely occupied by suppliers of raw materials (with the signs of the PlastMat trade show, in which the most innovative materials will be presented) and by exhibitors in the rubber sector (which make reference to the specialised Rubber exhibition); 13 and 15 will be dedicated to extrusion, welding and recycling technologies (but not only), while pavilions 22 and 24 will host moulding, blowing and auxiliaries, housing, amongst others, the 3Dplast exhibition which focuses on additives production and associated technologies, with the presence, among others, of a number of the leading brands in the segment, such as 3NTR, Eclat Digital, Gimac, Klaster and Protolabs Italia.

The new layout also provides for demonstration areas equipped with working lines and spaces dedicated to company presentations. Finally, the Start-up area returns, again thanks to the collaboration with the ICE Agency, in order to put the spotlight on young businesses in the sector offering innovative solutions.

A rich calendar of events

The calendar of associated events - conferences, workshops and press conferences of exhibitors – currently being finalised, sees a number of new developments, including a reinterpretation in conference-form of the The Innovation Alliance initiative – the project that sees the partnership of PLAST with IPACK-IMA, PRINT4ALL and INTRALOGISTICA ITALIA – with various opportunities for reflection focused on a wide range of current themes affecting the sectors involved, consolidating the supply chain message that underlies it.

Registrations for booking a space are still open and the pre-registration of visitors is already possible at the www.plastonline.org website.
