FachPack 2019: figures and trends

 With the event recently closed, NürnbergMesse announces the statistics of participation in the German packaging and technology fair, which took place in Nuremberg from 24 to 26 September last: about 44 thousand visitors among national and foreign operators (the latter increasing compared to previous editions) faced the proposals of about 1,591 exhibitors, who occupied 12 pavilions of the exhibition complex.

The event reaffirmed the innovative spirit of the packaging industry, which was decidedly focused on the transversal theme of sustainability, but also proactive in terms of digitization, e-commerce and brand experience.
The climate registered was excellent, with exhibitors satisfied with the level of visiting operators, mostly purchasing decision makers from the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical, automotive and retail industries. Also appreciated the in-depth proposals offered by the PackBox and TechBox forums: About 10,000 conference participants and 120 presentations, half of which touched on the different aspects of packaging sustainability (recycling, circular economy, use of bioplastics ...).
Finally, the dates of FachPack 2021 were announced, which will take place at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center from 28 to 30 September 2021.
