Green energy for green packaging

From LT Renewables Group, proposals and solutions for the installation of photovoltaic systems in the industrial sector: costs and benefits of a “low environmental impact” path.

One of the objectives of the packaging industry is to find production methods that generate the least possible environmental impact. The electricity used in industrial production processes is in fact responsible for most of the CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, making the energy aspect of fundamental importance if we want to propose ourselves as a “sustainable” company in all respects.

Thanks to the experience gained in twenty years of activity in the field, the LT Renewables Group has much to say in this regard - it is no coincidence that it promotes itself with the formula “Renewable. Reliable.”, proposing to companies the photovoltaic system as the best investment to produce renewable energy. And this also in consideration of industrial roofs, where the large areas available generally allow to produce enough energy compared to the consumption of the companies themselves. Moreover, the process of integration with storage systems can significantly reduce the withdrawal from the power grid.

Yesterday and today: security and transparency

LT Renewables Group, founded in 2001, is a leader in the design, construction (EPC) and maintenance (O&M) of renewable energy plants with over 80 MWp installed on industrial roofs and shelters, and over 600 MWp under management.

The organizational structure of LT relies on a staff composed of engineers, technicians and administrative support figures with diversified skills, able to assist the industrial reality in the choice of the most appropriate plant solution through the study of energy consumption, the best solution cost / benefit and assistance in all practices of authorization and administrative to achieve a “turnkey” plant.

The distribution of operating bases also allows a widespread presence of field technicians, auditors and field managers throughout the country, able to manage and maintain fully operational as many as 575 plants: numbers that make LT Renewables one of the top 20 operators in Europe.

The Group has always focused its resources on services with higher added value and invests in technology and innovation, with particular attention to safety aspects.

In particular, on the O&M front, the proprietary monitoring platforms are highlighted, for the analysis and final balance of production data and plant performance, as well as “trouble ticketing” for the management of extraordinary maintenance interventions.

The development of these systems has made it possible to offer the customer an even more complete and transparent service, which can always have at its disposal the main plant parameters and the interventions carried out. Recently, the company has equipped its field technicians with augmented reality viewers, which are extremely useful for HSE audits, delicate interventions such as medium voltage repairs, real time assistance through a dedicated help-desk, as well as virtual site visits to customers.
