Marking and coding systems: bespoke post sales

“Orange Club” is the undertaking fielded by Nimax to ensure its customers personalized assistance. Advantages and features of a highly special service.

It stands as a fact: many companies offer their customers a post sales assistance contract. Nimax though, with its “Orange Club”, interprets its role as supplier of industrial marking and coding systems adding a truly different emphasis.
Ingegner Montanari, CEO of the Bolognese company, anticipates the original features of his company’s after-sales service proposal, laying a basic premise, namely that «the customer, his needs and his uniqueness are at the heart of every Nimax project. Each of our installations - he states - arises out of an examination of the customer’s needs and an assessment of the production line of the same, in order to provide a coding system fully integrated within the packaging process».
The head of the after-sales service, Dr. Christine De Paoli, gave greater detail as to the structure of the “Orange Club”: «the support packages offered are normally modulated in stages, with a predefined set of services to which others are grouped in sequence, with costs increasing proportionally. Nimax has however upturned the rules of the game: instead of departing from what we have on offer, we in fact departed from what each individual customer needs. It is the customer who in fact chooses the services that go to make up his or her personal subscriber care package and just like in a club, each member has certain privileges and services of their choice».

New formula for new savings. The “Orange Club” formula thus provides an economic advantage, because customers do not pay for services they deem unnecessary. «The service agreement - explains De Paoli - consists of several modules, starting with the “first step”, which provides free telephone support 55 hours a week including Saturday morning with an operator that answers up to 8 pm on all workdays; the next step is the scheduled maintenance program, involving two interventions onsite, proceeding to the availability of a replacement marking machine should the installed machine break down. The warranty on the new marking machine can be extended to 12 months with provision of special conditions, as well as including a preferential supply channel of spare parts and consumables».

Last but not least... As Montanari states, although Orange Club has been created for the users of the products marketed by Nimax, some services are also available to those who use other coding systems, to be selected and rated case by case, «because ours is truly a bespoke service».
