Verreries Brosse names new Managing Director

Verreries Brosse has named Mr. Maurizio Guseo as its new Managing Director. Mr Guseo has spent 27 years of his career at Zignago Vetro Group, with positions including quality director and sales director of Zignago Vetro and most recently as sales and marketing director for all three of the group’s subsidiaries: Zignago Vetro (Italy), Huta Szkła Czechy (Poland) and Verreries Brosse (France).

From its factory in Vieux-Rouen-sur-Bresle, Normandy, where he is now based, Mr Guseo will work to reinforce Verreries Brosse’s automated and partially-automated industrial activities, building on its historic know-how in the fine perfumery and wines and spirits industries.

MAURIZIO-GUSEO_web.jpg«The Zignago Vetro Group aims to develop a global offer across the cosmetics, makeup and fragrance segments - states Maurizio Guseo - and to propose all quality levels, from premium to mass-market via lifestyle, thanks to the diversity of its manufacturing base, including single, double and triple gob manufacturing».

«Since I took on this role in January 2016, I have been proud to accompany Verreries Brosse’s motivated and passionate team, which is, and will remain, the driving force behind Zignago Vetro Group’s PREMIUM offer in the beauty and spirits markets. This is why we continue to reinforce our innovation strategy with an industrial organization adapted to the ever-more demanding needs of the market when it comes to quality and flexibility, both with automated and semi-automated production. We will continue to diversify our premium offer for the cosmetics, makeup, fragrance and spirits sectors as well as working to develop, for all these market segments, our standard ranges».

«At Luxe Pack, we will present our latest realizations, notably the bottle for Azzaro Wanted, made using a double gob press, the 100 and 150ml versions of Burberry Mr. Burberry and the pack for Guerlain’s new foundation line Parure Gold».

«We will also present a standard carafe made using automated production. And of course, for fine perfumery, we will show the new models in the UP & DOWN line, a major innovation in terms of glass repartition. Visitors will additionally be able to discover ALAIA Paris Extrait de Parfum, created using semi-automation, a particularly beautiful realization that won the PCD Award in the women’s fragrance category in February 2016».

«As well as these innovations and new products to be presented at Luxe Pack, as part of our industrial development, we are extremely attentive to the environmental aspects of production. At the beginning of 2016, we allocated resources internally to create an in-house CSR charter, which we will be pleased to discuss on our stand at Luxe Pack in Hall Diaghilev, aisle DC13».
