100% paper eco-pack for fruit and vegetables

Sorma Group presents its new 100% recyclable FSC paper packaging for fruit and vegetables, that feature an innovative cellulose mesh window that allows the contents to breathe, thereby extending shelf-life while allowing for product visibility.

A further strength of the new material is its adaptability to packaging machines, as it will be possible to use the paper on Sorma’s SBU packaging machine model through the use of a simple kit without the need to purchase special paper processing machines.

The paper packaging will be available in several versions: PaperPillow and PaperStandup, both with or without finger holds, and PaperVertbag. 

The new line further extends the company’s already wide range of environmentally friendly packaging solutions, which include: a single-material recyclable plastic line; the patented Sormapeel integrated plastic and paper line and packaging made of 100% compostable material introduced last autumn.
