Airpack in discussions with Abriso for the sale of its interests

Airpack, a company based in Ossago Lodigiano in Lombardy, Italy specialising in the production of bubble wrap and foam packaging and owner of Jiffy Packaging and TAP Telio, is set to sell its interests to Belgian group Abriso, a producer of polyethylene (PE) and polystyrene (PS) foam and bubble wrap film.

The merger between the two businesses will create an international centre of excellence with 1,600 employees working at 19 production sites across 11 European countries and an annual turnover of around €250 million.
