One machine for multiple quality controls

In-line inspection and control in the Food sector: Antares Vision Group has developed “All- in-One” which, thanks to a multi-technological design, converges multiple technologies dedicated to inspection in a single machine.

And this is to meet different quality requirements (regulatory compliance, container integrity, checking for micro leaks, contaminants, weight control, label verification ...).

So a new paradigm is opening up that revolutionizes the food inspection market, because it combines the need to have multiple inspections on one line with space optimization and production organization.

What it can do

The first All-in-One models present, in a single solution, the ability to combine several key inspections required by regulations.

  • Check for microholes in packaging on both trays and flow packs without changing the line speed or the composition of the gas used to preserve the product. Based on IR spectroscopy or gas sensors, it selectively, rapidly and accurately detects the presence of target molecules escaping from the package. CO2 for all MAP-packaged products, alcohol for the bread and bakery sector, and flavorings for some particular products can be used as target molecules.
  • Check for the presence of foreign bodies. Fragments of glass, bone, metal, plastic or stones that accidentally end up in the product during the production process or arising from raw materials are detected through the application of X-rays;
  • Control the weight of the product. Essential to avoid food waste, monitor and optimize production line efficiency, and comply with regulations (MID metrological approval).
  • Check sealing. Allows identification of the presence of food in the seal, both in transparent packaging and in colored and opaque packaging through hyperspectral technology.
  • Check label and code. Prevents products from entering the market with incorrect labels, either in terms of codes (expiration date, lot code, etc.) or the presence of other information.

Reduced footprint, single user interface that allows you to check what is happening per inspection, differentiated rejection, and automatic recipe setting are additional advantages offered by All-In-One solutions, plus reduced energy consumption.

All-In-One solutions can be integrated into Antares Vision Group’s Digital Factory software platform, where through the connection of machines, efficiency can be monitored and production optimized.

In addition, from the group’s expertise, results and attributes from inspection checks can be integrated into product traceability along the supply chain to ensure transparency and safety at all stages.
