High productivity and reduced consumption for Helix 4/2 EVO

Partnership between Robopac and Lenze: Helix 4/2 EVO is the fastest wrapper on the market for large palletized loads

Robopac has chosen Drinktec to present the world premiere of its new fully automatic double head arm wrapping machine: Helix 4/2 EVO. An evolution of the previous model, it is able to reach an output of 150 pallets per hour on large-size pallets (1900x1900 mm), confirming itself as the fastest wrapper on the market for large palletized loads. Suitable for a wide range of sectors—especially food & beverage, logistics, tissue & paper, and empty containers—Helix 4/2 EVO features robust high-end technical solutions that ensure an extremely low TCO and minimal maintenance, while being remarkably easy to use.

It can be equipped with all the typical Robopac options, such as the variable pre-stretch carriage with proactive film release control, which enables up to 40% reduction in plastic film consumption; film sealing on a contrast bar to avoid contact with the product; automatic application of corner boards and top sheet film; and compatibility with films of various thicknesses, including micro- and macro-perforated, NET, PCR or PIR recycled plastic, and coreless film.

These features are further enhanced by four high energy-efficiency three-phase motors MF by Lenze, optimized for the combination with frequency drivers and particularly suited for tasks requiring wide adjustment ranges and compact sizes. More dynamic and compact than traditional three-phase motors, they help make the two pre-stretch carriages lighter and develop consistent energy—thus combining the need for greater energy efficiency with consumption reduction: goals Robopac pursues with great commitment.
