Packaging machine for bags: latest developments
In addition to the vertical FFS machine VPK Basic, Rovema brings to Ipack-Ima in Milan (Hall 1 - Stand D75) the latest model of the SBS machine for double block bottom bags, which is already enjoying considerable success among users.
The SBS is the result of combining a vertical machine with a downstream system that gives the bag head the desired shape: in practice, the packaging will be not only more adapted to its target market, but it will also guarantee an unmistakable product identity on the shelf.
Rovema will thus present at the fair in Milan a preview of its latest development in an already tested technology, and while flexibility is the main feature of the machine (along with the design of the bags produced), visitors will also be struck by its high performance: 160 bpm with 500 g double block bottom bags.
Already in the first phase of production, the machine makes two bags, which are then guided to subsequent stations in a double action.
The clear advantages guaranteed to the user are savings on space in the production area and high performance, things that could previously only be achieved with two separate machines. Also on show at the Rovema stand is the VPK Basic vertical packaging machine, designed for the production of basic bags, like the pillow and block bottom bags, destined for an almost unlimited range of a wide variety of products to be packed gently and safely. Depending on the product - piecy, granulated or powdery - the VPK Basic will be completed with a volumetric cup doser or an auger doser. With a set performance of up to 130 bpm, this system is the ideal basic machine for standard bag forms and inspires mainly with a convincing price-performance-ratio.
