Packaging made in Italy: sleeves
Scaligera Packaging offers many updated and efficient solutions.
Since 1992, Scaligera Packaging has been making machinery for the application and shrinking of sleeves, as well as casepackers and palletizers for various types of products: bottles, cans, flacons, jars, trays, packs, tins, bags, shrink-wrapped packaging, bundles, cases and anything else that could be inserted into cartons and trays.
All the machines are controlled and managed by PLC/HMI and brushless motors, using automation provided by prestigious partners (Omron, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Danfoss, Festo, SMC, Sick) using the most common fieldbuses (Ethercat, Ethernet IP, Profibus). The systems can be controlled remotely and in tele-assistance.
Innovation and constant improvement are the company’s mainstays, in the search for customized solutions to better meet the specific needs of customers.
Their highly-skilled, competent personnel is specialised in the production of accurate, safe, high performance machines: entirely made in Italy, their output has over time won the faith of many leading companies in various industrial sectors.
Focus on sleeves. Regarding the sleeving machines developed by Scaligera Packaging, they range from the smaller size - Ulisse 2000 pcs/h - up to new models, which can apply and heatshrink over 50,000 pcs/h on twin application heads, each capable of making the sleeve body, full-body, half-body, tamper evident, 2-packs.
The combined shrink tunnels, that use either steam or air, are made up of modules that can be managed separately, to optimize the heatshrink depending on the product. Among the optionals, we cite the possibility of mounting a sleeve magazine, pre-fixing, vertical/horizontal perforator, under-lap, steam generators and dryers.
