PLC based labeling solutions

For label application where accuracy, high speed execution, synchronism and “dynamic and intelligent” speed change between label and product are required, Panasonic has developed solutions based on the ultracompact FPOR plc combined with Minas series brushless servodrives; all this centring on the ad hoc ICE61131 environment software libraries and fruit of applicative experience.

The system marries the versatility and functionality of the programmable controllers (in 30μs start-up, 4 axial control and 6 HSC channels) with the performance of vertical solutions capable of satisfying top level specifications (up to 1200 labels/minute).
Lastly, for end of label signaling, when dealing with strong variations in color, reflectivity and transparency of material, the Panasonic LX100 sensor with its incorporated color and contrast sensor excels, ensuring high performance and flexibility.
