Practical sustainability tests for the entire cosmetics industry: on the one hand companies that are committed to reducing the social and/or environmental impact of their work processes, changing their structure and giving life to new and innovative products, on the other, consumers increasingly attentive to the naturalness of ingredients and formulations and with a marked preference for "ethical" packaging.
The 2019 edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2019 will express these cross-cutting trends. This is a complex and articulated technological exhibition that features as the leading global event in the sector.

Over 250,000 professional operators come from all over the world to come to Bologna to discover the trends in the "beauty universe". To facilitate their visit, while promoting business opportunities and networking with over 2,800 exhibitors, Cosmoprof 2019 confirms the target opening dates and reinforces the distinction between visiting areas according to the merchandise sector with a more functional layout of the pavilions.

powderful.pngFrom Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 March 2019, doors open to Cosmopack and Cosmo | Perfumery & Cosmetics (which welcomes producers and specialists in the supply chain, finished product companies, buyers and retailers in the perfumery / cosmetics sectors, the Green & Organic space and Cosmoprime area dedicated to high-end cosmetics.

From Friday 15 to Monday 18 March, space for the professional channels of Cosmo | Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon, with the presence of salons and beauty centers, hairstylists, hairdressers, nail technicians and specialized distributors. The international pavilions, with small and medium beauty companies from all over the world, will follow the division by sector.

The keywords of Cosmopack 2019
• The March edition sees the growth and evolution of the exhibition dedicated to contract manufacturing and private label, process and packaging machinery, primary and secondary packaging, applicators and the ingredients and materials sector.
In addition to the pavilions 20, 15, 15A and 18, in hall 19 Cosmopack will give space to production and packaging solutions in line with the concepts of smart manufacturing.
Automation and technology therefore go hand in hand with the competence and innovative ability of Italian and foreign contractors and formulators.

• A reminder that, this year, the "The Factory" project takes on the connotation of circularity, respect for the environment and recovery.
The reproduction of the industrial supply chain, set up in hall 19, provides for the production of NO.CO (that is, No Compromise), the first completely natural haircare product: a "scalp oil" made with a formula without micro-plastics, contained in a bottle made from reclaimed polymers through an innovative technology and with parametrized carbon footprint.
We will therefore witness the mise-en-scène of the future of sustainability in the cosmetics industry, a future that is already a reality thanks to the research and investments of the companies present at Cosmopack.

• The show also hosts a large installation dedicated to the colors of sustainability: edited by the WGSN consulting agency, "20x2021: color trends " is supported by a study on the materials and the nuances that will trend from here to 2021 in the cosmetics industry.

• This year too, during the event, the assignment of the Cosmopack Awards will feature that, together with Cosmoprof Awards, celebrate innovation and international excellence in terms of products, formulations, packaging, technologies and design. A reminder in particular, that as regards the Cosmopack Awards, the winners selected by an international jury will be divided into the categories Make-up Formula and Make-up Packaging Technology (both include make-up and nail products), Packaging Design (includes skin products care, hair, personal care and fragrances), Skin Care Formula and Skin Care Packaging Technology (both include skin care, hair and personal care products).

• The congress format Cosmo Talks (events and educational can transmit important ideas and suggestions to the entire chain of beauty) and the Buyer Program (reserved exclusively for exhibitors and selected buyers, is a combination of exhibition and B2B meetings organized to measure companies complete the Cosmopack offer worthily.

464 exhibitors and over 23,000 professional operators animated the 2018 edition of Cosmopack, with a strong presence from abroad: management of cosmetic brands, purchasing managers, R & D and retailers, interested in the previews of the collections and the technologies proposed by the international supply chain leaders present at the fair.
The Cosmopack format also reached Hong Kong, with Cosmopack Asia, with an entire exhibition center dedicated to companies in the cosmetic production chain, and in 2019 the first edition of Cosmopack North America will be inaugurated.
