MARKING Talking to users Zanasi has garnered suggestions on which the design of the new Z4700 has been based: a microcharacter encoder that can be updated in time to continue to guarantee the highest quality at  lower investment and management costs.

Zanasi adds the inkjet coding system Z4700 to its range of microcharacter markers, developed with a new software that simplifies the control of the same, with an eye to protecting the customer's investment over time. It is an innovative solution, capable of reducing both print as well as management costs, and of ensuring high performance for the entire system lifecycle.

High quality within everyone's reach. The new generation of CIJ Zanasi coders came into being in the early 2000s, an Italian design success that has allowed us to develop a whole range of microcharacter devices.
Even the latest in line, the marker Z4700, was built on a modular platform to ensure the same manufacturing reliability, easy integration and equal performance in all applications, from the simplest to the most complex. Applications that are consolidated by a 3 year warranty in the various market sectors.

The new marker Z4700 fits into the groove of an ergonomic design tradition system and, like the whole Zanasi product offer, has a standard AISI 304 stainless steel IP55 cabinet without compressed air connection. The hydraulic system has been redesigned to maintain high quality standards even after prolonged stoppages and to meet the demand for reliability both during standard as well as more intensive use spanning several work shifts.
More resolution and sharpness, lower consumption. The Z4700 is available in different configurations, depending on the application and adjustable with a variety of fonts and matrices essential to obtain high-quality prints of up to 4 lines. It seamlessly integrates into lines with print speeds of more than 2000 characters/sec and production speeds of up to 400 m/min.
Zanasi formulates and manufactures a wide range of standard and pigmented fast-drying inks through a strict internal quality control to ensure maximum system efficiency. Their experience in production allows them to propose a set of inks that can print all kinds of alphanumeric text, expiration date, logos up to 1D and 2D barcodes on a variety of materials and substrates for the food, beverage, cosmetic and electronic sectors.
Not only that: in addition to Mek-free, Zanasi has opened a new frontier, making a full line of biodegradable inks, designed and developed with a focus on environmental protection and protection of the health of users.
 
Ease of use and integration. The operator-machine dialogue is likewise intuitive. Z4700 is based on an innovative management software and stable and flexible operating system, with10.1" color touchscreen.
The pluspoints? A new coding experience with customizable user interface for each operator through language, keyboard and activities (multilevel login); a graphics editor with simple and intuitive icons and stretch and drag & drop functions, a universal language recognizable by any operator in any part of the world.
Last but not least, an advanced and versatile integration via Ethernet, USB and serial ports allows access to external databases with fixed and variable type text fields, and that enables the system performance to be monitored remotely. A contextual help menu enables the viewing of teaching demos and information for problem solving, drastically reducing training time for dedicated staff.

Savings and ease of maintenance In Zanasi it is taken for granted: each and every system must, in all its parts, be visible, inspectable and repairable. Z4700 is no exception: it is ergonomic and its operativeness is guaranteed by the quick standard sized cartridge replacement, without leakage and without stopping the production line.
Furthermore, in a market increasingly geared to emerging countries, the company also wanted to offer a more "performant" solution in terms of quality andxline adaptation while significantly reducing the total cost of ownership. This result has been obtained by:
