Datalogi introduces the P2x series smart camera, which combines outstanding performance with the flexibility of a complete vision system. With 2 MP resolution and several available illumination options, it is suitable for use in a variety of industrial applications in the food, medical and pharmaceutical, electronics and automotive industries.

The compact design and wide field of view make it ideal for robot guidance applications. The integrated, powerful and flexible lighting system allows it to be used on production lines that handle different types of products in terms of shape, size and color.

P2x is typically used to verify that components are correctly positioned and assembled before moving on to the next step in the manufacturing process. It also has full OCR capability, allowing it to read labels, checking their compliance with traceability and serialization requirements.

Among the most advanced features of the P2x series is the ability to detect changes in orientation from its original configuration. Additional advanced functionality is offered by IMPACT software.
