From smart manufacturing to digital

Schneider Electric returns to SPS in order to continue valorizing its smart manufacturing solutions, while at the same time expanding the range of concrete opportunities operators stand to benefit from when they adopt digital technology as a platform for innovation on every level.

In order to enable the integration of digital, automation and energy distribution technologies, the key is having a complete platform, developed to enable bringing together in one ecosystem all the different fields of application and control necessities that can be found within an industrial business.

Means for digital transformation. Schneider therefore offers EcoStruxure, an IIoT-based, native-integrated architecture and platform that is open and compliant with global industry standards (from ODVA to Modbus Org). It accommodates integration of all the most fundamental industrial platforms, for both the factory and efficient building management as such, along with tech infrastructure (data center) and comprehensive energy distribution.
Thanks to complete interoperability among the various applications, EcoStruxure enables sharing any type of data, analyzing it and retrieving the right information at the right moment to control and optimally manage a production plant.
Put very briefly, EcoStruxure guarantees not only maximum functional integration among the various applications, but also an integration that enables transitioning from a conventional automation scheme to a smart manufacturing one. To this end, the concern has accounted for new mobility and connectivity needs, in combination with new technological resources, which is to say the cloud and the recent advances in analytics software.
