Sweet excellence, well-marked
The company Babbi (Bertinoro, FC) has been producing cones, wafers and semi-finished products for ice creams since 1952.
Early on, with the intent of exploiting their facilities during the winter months, the company expanded its scope to include the confectionery industry.
Thus, thanks to the careful selection of fine materials and a craftsmanslike quality - the company produces unique specialities like the Viennese wafers and Waferini, spreadable creams or semi finished products for icecreams, today known and appreciated throughout the world. Babbi pays particular attention to the entire production process, from the selection of ingredients to the product marking and individual packaging that, because of the diversity and seasonality of references, is done on substrates that are very different from each other. Here the company Zanasi (Sassuolo, MO) offers a valuable support to quality, with its industrial inkjet printing systems for marking and coding primary and secondary packaging. Its most recent delivery features the high-definition marking system Z640Plus for the personalisation of light brown cardboard boxes containing the finished and semi-finished products. The system meets all the communication, identification and tracking needs (the fundamental data can be placed on any secondary packaging, in harmony with the packaging graphics to enhance the company brand). The simplified management ensures the reduction of coding errors and associated line stops and the user interface is intuitive: via a touchscreen display stored encodings and messages can be called up, avoiding the need to reprogram the printer.
