SATO launches CL4NX, the new revolutionary series of thermal industrial barcode printers and changes the sector standards.

Leader in printing barcodes, labels and EPC/RFID solutions, SATO has devised CL4NX, the first truly universal printer, conceived on the basis of the needs of the final operators and skilfully made to support new or existing applications used in a vast range of vertical markets, where a longlasting and reliable printer capable of standing up to years of intense use is demanded.
The CL4NX has been designed to be simple to use and to maintain as any first-day user will surely confirm.
It offers high rates of userfriendliness, with 3.5 inch color display, user selected menu in 30 languages and video display use and maintenance tutorial; simple too the tool-less replacement of the printhead and print roller.
The machine is sturdy and compact; entirely built in diecast aluminium, it is at the top of its industrial class.
The special printhead offers a very high print quality and a broad range of consumables, also operating at high speeds and lasting double that of a normal head. 

The electronics, a pluspoint. On the CL4NX it is the electronics that makes the difference: it is in fact the first machine of this class to use a Dual Core 800/800Mhz CPU with standard 2 GigaBytes memory, for print processing and throughput well above the results obtained by top range industrial thermal printers.
Its extensive memory means that all  Multinational Unicode 8 and 16 fonts as well as a support for the loading of TTF fonts are available internally.
The state-of-the-art connection options feature max. functionality and communication flexibility.
The machine also offers standard USB, LAN, RS232, Parallel, Bluetooth, USB Host, I/O connectors and, as a sole option, the Cisco certified Wi-Fi board.
Everything is on automatic search, one only has to connect up and print.
The connectivity is what is more guaranteed by the availability of Certified Windows Drivers as well as Cups for Mac and Linux and SAP ABAP.
As well as that the SATO AEP (Application Enabled Printing) system enables the creation of applications through a proprietory system that controls all the print operations and interactions, as well as enabling the creation of the simplest to the most complicated stand-alone applications. Lastly, the system offers option scalability and expandibility including RFID/NFC labeling systems.

The unique features make the CL4NX ideal for all difficult areas and/or industrial production, storage, supply chain logistics, but also health and retail applications.
