Thermal transfer for food packs
For many years EIDOS has been developing successful partnerships with packaging line manufacturers, with whom the company is accredited as a coding and marking system provider.
The upcoming Cibus Tec (Parma, 25 to 28 October 2016) is an important moment for the company, allowing it to meet up with co-workers and users to exchange information on packaging strategies designed to enhance the food sector as a whole.
At the fair, the Eidos machines - robust, reliable, state-of-the-art, designed on the basis of requested functions - will not only be on show at stand G008 in Hall 3, but on many of the packaging lines and equipment on show elsewhere, bearing witness to the good results that come from good co-working agreements.
All Eidos machines are based on thermal transfer technology, particularly suitable for the food industry (no inks and no solvents) and can also be used in extreme environments in terms of temperature, humidity or dust. Integrated on production lines, Eidos encoders provide quality results, long life and easy connectability through emulation of the most widespread protocols.
The company designs and produces its own Swing encoders, the family of printers for coding directly on packaging film, including models for large areas and multitrack and multipass daters and coders. Eidos’ product range includes the print & apply Printess series, available in several models, to satisfy all forms of labeling needs, from the single item to the pallet.
Coditherm is in turn a direct digital printer (patented printing method) for printing on non-metallic objects, required for coding reusable plastic crates, ideal also for small batches and samples.
