With Vision, energy efficiency and “Swiss” precision

An intelligent device with a space-saving design and innovative concept, designed to ensure safe bonding and optimize operating costs: the Vision fuser from Robatech.

Unveiled online as a world premiere in mid-March, Vision is Robatech’s new energy-efficient melter, which melts high-quality thermoplastic and hotmelt adhesives in a controlled manner, maintaining constant viscosity and pressure stability right up to the gun.

Thanks to its innovative design, Vision significantly increases the reliability of the adhesive application in terms of precision, perfect uniformity and repeatability of results, which are essential requirements especially in the bonding processes of primary packaging. Moreover, compared to the previous Concept model, it consumes 20% less energy.

Robatech reiterated the added value of the modular device, which guarantees the backward compatibility with tubes and guns up to the year 2000 so as to update and make more efficient the existing lines and increase the quality of gluing.

Smart Terminal, a remote “ally”. An alerting and monitoring system allows operating and status information to be displayed on a variable-color LED bar positioned in the corner of the Vision so that operators can check, even from a distance, whether the gluing process is running smoothly or whether the adhesive needs to be refilled. The display of the current pump pressure, status codes and four function keys make operation easy and allow rapid intervention if necessary.

Flexibility in installation and integration Vision offers packaging machine builders multiple options. The fuser can be installed longitudinally or transversely: it is operated remotely or via the optional touch screen, which can be mounted on the front or side.

Thanks to FlexPort, the 45° flexible connection area, tubes can be installed in any direction.

This ensures maximum flexibility in positioning Vision at the shortest possible distance from the guns, thus reducing the length of the electro-heated hose. Robatech Control System offers open interfaces and standardized fieldbus protocols for easy system integration.
