Hygienic Design: maximum hygiene and rapid cleaning

The Hygienic Design version, engineered according to EHEDG standards, has been developed to withstand even the most aggressive washdowns, including those using hypochlorite-based disinfectants or alkaline foams, which would typically damage standard components. The gearboxes feature a design free from edges, cavities, or recesses, and their surfaces undergo electrochemical polishing. This prevents the build-up of residues or bacteria, ensuring thorough and easy cleaning of the entire unit. Furthermore, PTFE (Teflon) seals on both the motor and output sides ensure high chemical and thermal resistance. Compliant with FDA regulations, they are ideal for systems that must maintain the highest hygiene standards, as required in food processing, packaging, bottling, as well as in medical and pharmaceutical applications. This version includes gearboxes with output shaft (HDV) or flange (HDP) output configurations for compact, high-dynamic applications such as Delta robots, stainless-steel (1.4404 / AISI 316L) axenia value compact actuators in single-cable technology, and cyber® dynamic line brushless micromotors.

Corrosion Resistant: complete protection against corrosion

For applications exposed to corrosive agents or high-humidity environments, the Corrosion Resistant version provides full protection against rust and oxidation. The range includes coaxial and right-angle gearboxes, available with shaft, flange or hollow-shaft output options, engineered to deliver long-term reliability and performance even under particularly demanding operating conditions. All input and output interfaces, as well as compatible accessories - couplings, shrink discs, and screw plugs - are made of stainless steel. The housing and the motor flange feature a two-component anticorrosion coating, while the centring area is nickel-plated to ensure precise dimensional tolerances (g6). Finally, lubrication is provided by an NSF-compliant food-grade grease, enabling safe use in systems where contact with food or sensitive products may occur.
