The donations and commitment of Bayer Maroc
Bayer Maroc has donated over 3 million dirhams, including financial aid and drugs, to support the Moroccan government and healthcare facilities during the Covid-19 emergency.
The group has also donated 1 million dirhams to the Special Fund for the fight against the coronavirus set up by King Mohammed VI.
Ahead of Ramadan, Bayer is planning mutual aid measures for families and is committed to ensuring the continued supply of products for hospitals, medics, patients, consumers and farmers.
At an international level, the pharmaceutical group is contributing to various research initiatives for the treatment of the virus in collaboration with other pharmaceutical companies and universities.
For this purpose, it has made its catalogue of substances available to facilitate screening work for the search for a potential active ingredient.
Bayer supports the Initiative to Speed Development and Access to Therapies for COVID launched by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
