DS Smith on the frontline of solidarity packaging

The British multinational DS Smith has donated cardboard boxes to the textile company Anzú, which has adapted its operations to produce facemasks.

The Portuguese company is producing 25,000 masks for distribution to solidarity organisations in Leira. The packaging provided by DS Smith will enable Anzú to easily transport and distribute the protective items.

DS Smith is also collaborating with Nestlé to distribute 9,000 food parcels containing soft drinks, coffee and sweets to staff working at around 900 hospitals in Germany.

And at the end of March, DS Smith worked with food retailers across Europe to develop a new packaging solution designed to support the delivery of everyday essentials.
