News in Ipack Ima
Newly appointed as CEO of Ipack Ima Srl, Simone Castelli will be presenting the changes characterising the 2025 edition of the IPACK-IMA trade fair. An international press conference is planned on 5 May in Düsseldorf, in which the new BoD of the company will also be presented.
After the official announcement of the dates of the forthcoming editions of Meat-Tech (28 - 30 May 2024) as well as IPACK-IMA and Pharmintech (planned to take place at Fiera Milano from 27 to 30 May 2025), Simone Castelli has been appointed as CEO of Ipack Ima srl, the joint venture between Ucima and Fiera Milano which organizes the trade fairs in question. Castelli, who has held the roles of Vice General Manager of Ucima (Italian Packaging Machinery Manufacturers' Association) and Acimac (Association of Italian suppliers of plant, machinery, equipment, semi-finished products, raw materials and services for the ceramic, heavy clay and refractories industries), brings into the company extensive knowledge of the national and international trade fair sector, as well as years of experience in management and marketing.
These are characteristics that he will bring to «a high-level structure such as Ipack Ima which, over the years, has stood out in the organization of international trade fair events in the processing and packaging context. With a further objective», affirms the manager. «My commitment will, in fact, be to consolidate the work carried out so far and to develop new strategies, the details of which I will have the pleasure of presenting during the press conference planned for 5 May in Interpack».
Ipack Ima Srl’s BoD has also been renewed, with the introduction of figures of undisputed professional and managerial stature. Alongside confirmations of Chairman Valerio Soli, as well as Directors Luciano Sottile for Proma Pack-Ucima and Andrea Maldi for Fiera Milano, the CEO Simone Castelli and the director Simona Greco for Fiera Milano, directors Antonella Candiotto and Gian Paolo Crasta for Proma Pack-Ucima, have been appointed.
As Valerio Soli, chairman of Ipack Ima srl, has already underlined, the course leading to Meat-Tech 2024 and IPACK-IMA and Pharmintech 2025 is already plotted.
«The strengthening and innovation of the offer will underpin our actions in the next few years, interpreting market trends and following its evolution, with a view to increasing representation, digitalisation, technological innovation and, last but not least, sustainability. We are pleased to welcome Simone Castelli, confident in the contribution that a profile like his can make to the growth of our trade fair enterprises. Particular thanks go to Rossano Bozzi, moving on to new professional challenges, who has been able to consolidate the results of our events».
