Friction feeders

With respect to the entire range of products that Wide Range exhibited at interpack, there was particular interest in the WR FEEDER friction feeder line, able to process sheets, tags, cases and coupons up to a maximum size of 250x300 millimetres in the 250 version or 400x300 in the 400 version or 500x300 in the 500 version.

A powerful step motor guarantees an input speed of 70 m/minute. The most evolved version of the range was particularly appreciated: the WR FEEDER 4.0, with features in line with Industry 4.0 and therefore able, with specific developed software, to manage tele-maintenance and/or tele- diagnosis and/or control in remote, as well as the continuance of the working conditions and process parameters.

The simple and intuitive user interface, using a 7-inch colour screen, enables operators to interact with the machine on which it’s installed, controlling, for example, process parameters, or giving commands.

It should be noted that the WR FEEDER friction feeder line is equipped with a range of ink-jet printers with HP technology for writing variable texts (date, time, barcodes and texts), with a height of from 12 mm to a maximum of 100 mm and a resolution of 600 dpi.
