Changsu’s first step towards global expansion

On January 15th, Changsu, the chinese leader in BOPA film manufacturing, opens its first production base abroad.

Located in the Suryacipta Industrial Park, West Java, Indonesia, the new production base (PT Changsu) represents a major investment towards Changsu’s aim at global expansion: with an annual production capacity of 90,000 tons once fully operational, the new supply chain will not only become the largest BOPA film production base in Southeast Asia, but it will also allow shorten delivery times for customers across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and America.

“The launch of PT Changsu is an important step in our global expansion” states Group Chairman Mr. Yang - “Looking ahead, we plan to scale our production in key regions such as Europe and North America by boosting R&D investments and manufacturing high-value-added products powered by proprietary technologies”.

BOPA film offers an exceptional combination of tensile strength, high barrier performance, and easy-tear features making it the lead material in industries like food, new energy, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals.

Beyond BOPA, Changsu also offers BOPLA films, a high-performance bio-based, compostable film.
