The works

Realized using different languages, Tarsitano’s works take the form of “embodied visions”.

Her artistic research often focuses on the concept of landing, in places of nature and culture and historical European heritage, with the intent to question the character and dialogue with the universal archetypes, the content of emotions that each of them suggests.

A word from the artist

The work created for ItaliaImballaggio recounts the magic, the infinity and the mystery of travel. Water expresses the passing of time, light, expectation, colors, surprise, desire, hope of what we expect or imagine. Traveling is a metaphor of lost time, of the oblivion of thought, the endless narration of what we do not know but dream of. Man’s respect for nature, the responsibility to take care of the one and the other, the perpetual search for the aesthetics of living together in the harmony of mutual dialogue. The journey is therefore the narration of Mankind, of its existence, told by stories and myths in the beauty of what surrounds us and belongs to us. S.T.
