MX range of multi-purpose suction cups

Designed for logistics, warehousing, e-commerce and material recycling applications, the suction cups of the new Piab  MX range are suitable for picking objects of different materials and surfaces. 

Available in five sizes (35, 42, 50, 57 and 65 mm in diameter), they can be used in a wide range of applications such as bin picking, fulfillment, box depalletizing and parcel sorting.
MX suction cups are ideal for handling pouches, cardboard boxes, recycled items, hard-to-grip bags: Gone are the days where you need to change suction cup for each individual product in the application.
Additional advantages of the solution are:

• energy saving. The excellent sealing performance allows for up to 50% less vacuum flow, thus reducing compressed air consumption and downsizing the vacuum pump. Compared to conventional suction cups, they significantly contribute to a more sustainable and efficient operation;

• low wrinkle impact. The special design avoids denting/wrinkling surfaces and ensures the best possibility to re-use packages, which allows for a more “circular” output on packaging;

• durable material. MX suction cups are made in DURAFLEX®, Piab’s extreme longevity material which has tested for over 750,000 cycles. This features the elasticity of rubber and the outstanding wear resistance of polyurethane, as well as fantastic elastic memory and “mark free” capabilities.
