Cyber® dynamic line: integrated ball screw in ultra-compact design

The linear actuators proposed by WITTENSTEIN SE (cyber motor division) with screw totally integrated in the stem, have a design optimized for high dynamic applications that require both reduced dimensions and high hygienic standards.

Available in four sizes, each with two screw pitch options and two different stroke lengths, the new linear actuators with integrated WITTENSTEIN screw for installation in high dynamic positioning axes complete the range of cyber®dynamic line servo motors and rotary servoactuators.
In combination with the simco® drives, they allow you to configure compact servo axes with a variety of fieldbus interfaces.
Lubricated for life, they do not require maintenance. The stainless steel version, with IP65 protection rating, is perfect even for complex applications in the food & beverage sector (for example on high-precision bottling plants).
The main areas of use include packaging machines and automated assembly lines, tool positioning and dispensing systems, as well as insertion, bending, picking or dosing in forming and handling systems or in the semiconductor sector.
High power density in an optimized industrial design. The real innovation of the series is in fact the design studied ad hoc to ensure high performance in a compact footprint, in compliance with strict hygiene standards. The entire actuator is contained in a steel housing with IP54 protection rating and can be mounted in any position. The screw requires no maintenance, is equipped with an anti-rotation mechanism and is enclosed in the actuator stem.
For all sizes a singleturn absolute encoder with 12 bit resolution is available, while for the larger ones an integrated multiturn encoder, the smallest currently on the market, can be requested.

Reliability and energy efficiency. Compared to pneumatic solutions - more expensive and subject to dispersion - cyber® dynamic line with ball screw offers greater positioning accuracy and flexibility, without the need to reset the machine (the latter advantage is much appreciated in processes with frequent format changes). Watertight, they ensure greater energy efficiency.

Advanced connectivity. The cyber® dynamic line actuators with integrated ball screw can be configured with the simco® drives to create compact, high-performance axes, for which a variety of communication interfaces are available.
Users therefore have the opportunity to purchase a complete system from a single supplier, with the advantage of simplified and risk-free commissioning with an electronic nameplate.
