Vitruvian Game 2.0 at SPS
Lab Network has created Vitruvian Game, a machine with a Leonardesque flavor and a strong craft component (the metal structure has been made to measure by an Italian carpentry shop, as well as the gears of the engines) that allows flying thanks to the most advanced hardware and software technologies, with a dynamic guaranteed by the advanced motion control functions present inside the B&R drives, in a parallel universe created by virtual reality.
The structure, in action in the Know how 4.0 area of SPS Italia, is not only a fascinating game but represents a sort of laboratory to show the contaminations between artisan know how and the new technologies, whose disclosure is one of the Lab Network’s missions.
Vitruvian Game 2.0 comes from Busnet (a software house that has devised a software layer developed with OPC-UA protocol to speed communication between machines and clouds) and Smart Meter which has added new features to version 1.0 of the game, transforming it from prototype to saleable product.
