Smarter, more compact vision technology
The opportunities offered by the Italian government’s Industry 4.0 plan and the smart manufacturing solutions to enhance the flexibility and efficiency of the market at the focus of Datalogic’s stand at SPS IPC Drives.
Interoperability among vision, identification and traceability systems, control and safety systems, laser scanner technologies, imagers and line scan cameras, handheld devices for data collection: these are the main application areas for which Datalogic at SPS (Hall 3, Stand D004) is offering versatile solutions, combining multiple technologies in order to maximize productivity and ROI.
Laser Sentinel. This is a safety monitoring solution for factory automation and intralogistics which the Bolognese concern is launching for the first time at SPS. It is a highly flexible safety laser scanner, equipped with all necessary functions for both static (robotized cells, perimeter control machines, machine opening safeguards, conveyors, etc.) and dynamic applications (AGVs, forklifts), all in a compact device with powerful detection capabilities. It can manage up to three areas at one time (“caution areas” up to 20 m and “safety areas” up to 5.5 m, both with 275° angle). Innovative optic features like a signal filter make Laser Sentinel reliable even in the harshest industrial environments.
The smallest industrial scanner. Ultra-compact and using 2D imager technology, Matrix 120 can be easily integrated into any manufacturing operation and is suitable for a wide range of data collection applications in the OEM and manufacturing sectors.
DEMO BOTTLING.The Datalogic stand at the Parma fair will also feature a demo of all inspection phases (filling, closure, labeling) and identification phases (1D/2D, OCR) of an integrated industrial bottling process, showing off the interoperability made possible by: S100 series sensors for the detection of transparent material and liquids; the S8 series of light sensors for label detection; the brand new MX-E vision processor, which by connecting to Ethernet using the new E100 series of digital cameras is able to verify the closure and fill level of bottles; the P-Series smart color camera, which checks label color; the 2D Matrix 300N and Matrix 210 scanners for barcode tracking and, last but not least, the innovative, SLIM safety barriers, whose ultra-thin profile makes them compatible with any automatic machine.
