3D camera in stereovision

Image S is the 3D camera in stereovision Ensenso N10 IDS Imaging, innovative and compact, which works on the principle of "stereovision with projected texture."

Ensenso N10 has two CMOS global shutter sensors and a texture or pattern projector, which projects a random dot matrix on the object to be detected. The main advantage of the pattern is that it works even in applications with multiple cameras and is ideal for capturing unstructured surfaces.
Thanks to factory calibration, the installation of Ensenso N10 for comparing the 3D surfaces with the interface Halcon of MVTec takes less than ten minutes. With the free software interface supplied, users can also easily integrate the camera into their software applications. The solid aluminum housing measures just 150 x 45 x 45 mm.
