Colorful... bubbles

“I am not that type of firm”… One might say paraphrasing the title of Lena Dunham’s latest novel. In other word, I am no longer only attention to the organization of the production, the safety of processes and the produce, the quality of the service, but I am also beautiful, colored (it just so happens), fizzy, out of the ordinary, and - if I were a man or a woman - with “ambitions as great as my passed transgressions”.

Here is the opportunity for reiterating that companies have a soul, that of those who guide it and work in it and, and that when these companies “work”, they manage to express strong feelings and meanings, albeit colored by an infinite number of shades.

People, when it comes down to it, who need to get to know each other, exchange opinions, speak of work, but also share moments of conviviality together, as was the case in the recent encounter “Color, Art and Fragance” organized by Sun Chemical Italia at the Cantina Ca’ del Bosco at Erbusco (BS), a concern that has always matched excellent wines with attention to nature, architecture and art.
Exemplary hence the choice of location, as was impeccable the organisation, right on target in offering - as the Multinational’s CEO for Italy Fabio Deflorian reminded us - a moment of encounter between people and concerns that operate in different sectors: from publishing to paper&board offset printing, from label printing to printing on flexible packaging.

That is to say the world in miniature of printing on packaging et al. assembled together to review the importance of color, of the need to “measure” it correctly, to glean how to manage color and communicate it better.
In particular one spoke of the evolution of Pantone Live (that is real inks, printed using real technologies, on real substrates) and the relative service devised by Sun Chemical, in quality of Preferred Partner (all “Color Libraries” are exclusively built with Sun Chemical inks). Of SunColor Box and its bundle of applications and services provided to implement the workflow when color is managed digitally, a subject we will not fail to tackle in detail elsewhere.

Now, what I wish to assert, is the principle around which the event was constructed: to move factually imagining the activity of printing evolve in the direction of a business, aboveall else sustainable but also capable of transmitting values to all the actors along the supply chain.
An inescapable challenge… like that of giving sense to life, but certainly more concrete and more within reach of human capacities.
And so, “imagine, indeed you can”.
