The use of robotics in the food sector

Personalization, flexibility, reliability and safety: these are the major needs that companies have expressed in recent years towards robotics.

PRL Tecnosoft, a company from Brescia specializing in the handling of food products, will be present again this year at Ipack-Ima 2022 to show not only the more classic solutions that characterize its traditional know-how, but also examples of how robotics can be profitably applied in the food sector.

With “Hello Robotics”, the new division of PRL Tecnosoft born in 2021 with the aim of expanding the offer of automated solutions, examples of integration that can increase the efficiency and productivity of a plant will be presented at the fair. For example, in the food industry, robots can be profitably employed in various stages - production, processing, packaging and palletizing - especially to perform all repetitive actions with little added value such as moving pans and trays, loading and unloading packaging machines, applying decorations or promotional inserts.
