ABB: free digital services for customers

To keep the production lines active and functional, from March 27 to the end of 2020, ABB Robotics & Discrete Automation makes the main software services available free of charge to its customers.

During this unprecedented crisis, ABB Robotics & Discrete Automation is working to help customers and partners keep production lines active and to allow companies to continue operating while many work from home.

For this reason, from Friday 27 March, many customers and partners can benefit from digital solutions that allow to manage production lines remotely and keep robotic systems operating at optimal performance with less human interaction.

Digital tools can also be used to help customers continue to work and prepare for projects that will be ready to go as soon as everyone returns to the workplace.

The software of the digital solutions will be made available free of charge and include: ABB Ability ™ Connected Services: Condition Monitoring & Diagnostics

ABB's Connected Services platform monitors the health and performance of individual robots or entire fleets, helping customers monitor and operate robotic systems for optimal performance remotely.

ABB Ability ™ Connected Services provide active intelligence that allows service experts to resolve problems that could lead to costly unplanned outages before they occur.
