Advanced, user friendly 3D inspection
Sick, a manufacturer state-of-the-art sensors, photocells and industrial automation systems, presents TriSpector1000, an easy to configure 3D vision system that requires no programming.
The solution is suitable for quality control applications in sectors like packaging in which it is necessary to count and position objects, take measurements and verify filling levels or packaging integrity.
Thanks to its camera’s integrated image processing functions, TriSpector1000 acquires 3D models of the products traveling on the line by using laser triangulation to capture profiles. The resulting 3D image can then be overlaid by the one acquired by measuring the intensity of rays on the surface of the objects, enabling the system to enhance data acquisition processing, verifying, for example, the presence of the label, graphic elements or grade of protection.
The inspection results are automatically transmitted to the control system through digital outputs or Ethernet connection.
An intuitive interface makes TriSpector1000 easy to use. Available in three versions, with different frame sizes, it is easy to replace while saving previously memorized settings.
The robust metal frame with optional plastic window guarantees IP67 protection, making it suitable for use under harsh conditions such as those in the food industry.
