Checkweigher + track&trace

How do you combine marking and vision systems with checkweighing, optimizing space on production lines? Thermo Scientific proposes an integrated solution that performs all tasks with a single machine.

The Versa RxV integrated checkweigher is designed for use in the pharmaceutical industry, but it can easily be applied in other sectors, especially food, in which consumer safety is a primary value.

A combined station. Already required by law in many countries (France, Turkey and Brazil, although it will soon also be introduced in numerous other European countries, in addition to California, Korea and China), pharmaceuticals traceability relies on the GS1 code as a global and unequivocal identification standard.
The checkweighers Versa GP and Versa Rx Pharma with an integrated coder combine marking, verification and checkweighing functions in a single station, avoid the need for interventions on existing lines or setting up track&trace islands, with clear advantages in terms of space and costs.
These machines are high speed and high precision, in compliance with 21 CFR part 11 standards, integrated with marking and verification systems and available in both totally integrated and add-on versions. For marking they employ HP technology, guaranteeing maximum print precision with over 600 dpi and quick drying, at speeds up to 300 cartons/min. They can also be equipped with laser printing units.
Other characteristics include high accuracy, a special over/under conveyor created in order to guarantee perfect positioning of the carton to be printed, a user-friendly human machine interface, a flip-flop button for custom software management (only in integrated versions), a portable scanner and many software and mechanics optionals.
