50 years of technological developments

In 2023 Comau celebrates 50 years of activity and does so presenting a new solution: the MI.RA/Picker. It’s a system for the casual pick-up of objects from containers, based on sensors and vision systems, advanced algorithms and software for robot guidance, also collaborative robots, which can be used for logistical applications in practically all goods sectors. The solution is the most recent entry into the Machine Inspection Recognition Archetypes (MI.RA) product family, a range of intelligent vision systems which are independent of the hardware.

In line with Comau’s design approach, the MI.RA/Picker combines robotics and digital and makes automation easier to use, generating benefits in terms of productivity, reduction in process times and consumption of energy and resources.
